The Virel Baguette Cut Diamond Band is the most refined stacking piece in our collection — a 1.8mm solid 14K gold band set 1/3 of the way around with 7 baguette-cut lab-grown diamonds, each one bar-set between clean gold rails that run perpendicular to the band. The baguette cut is the most architectural of all diamond shapes: its rectangular form and step-cut facets produce a clarity and depth of light that round brilliants cannot achieve — long, mirror-like flashes rather than scattered sparkle, a brilliance that is cool, linear, and completely modern. The baguette cut — named for the French bread it resembles in shape — is one of the oldest and most sophisticated diamond cuts in fine jewelry.
