Why a round needs nothing else
The round brilliant is the one shape cut purely for light. Its facets are arranged to send as much of what enters the stone back up to your eye as possible, which is why it outshines every other shape at the same weight. A plain band lets it do that job without interruption. Add pavé or texture and the stone shares the stage. Leave the band bare and the diamond is the whole conversation.
What low dome means on your hand
Most solitaire bands are flat on top or pinched to a knife edge. This one is 2mm wide and rounded across its width, a gentle curve rather than a high arch, so it looks refined from above but has no corners pressing into the fingers beside it. It is the profile I would choose for someone who types, lifts, or cooks every day: nothing to snag, nothing to wear unevenly.
What wedding band goes with it?
