A 0.7ct oval brilliant Lab-Grown Diamond centre, surrounded by a petal-shaped halo of brilliant-cut Lab-Grown Diamonds, on a 2mm polished band. Available in solid 14K yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum. Stones under one carat are not sold with a lab report, so this one arrives uncertified — I select it face-up at the bench instead.

Why an oval at this weight

An oval spreads wider across the finger than a round of the same carat weight, so 0.7ct here covers more hand than 0.7ct would in a brilliant cut. The halo extends that further. If you want the look of a larger stone without paying for one, this is the honest way to get it.

Setting notes

Petal halos are fiddlier than round ones. Each petal has to sit level with its neighbours or the whole flower looks buckled, and the gaps between petals are where a careless setter leaves gold showing. I set these one petal at a time.
