Two ways to wear it

Prong vs bezel tennis bracelets

We build tennis bracelets in both classic settings. Same matched Lab-Grown Diamonds, same solid 14K gold, same double-latch clasp — the difference is how each stone is held, and that changes the whole look.

Prong-set tennis bracelet

Slim gold prongs hold each diamond, leaving most of the stone open to light for maximum sparkle. We make them in four-prong, three-prong and two-prong — fewer prongs means less metal and more diamond.

Choose prong if: you want the most brilliance and the traditional look. Shop prong-set

Bezel-set tennis bracelet

Each diamond is wrapped in a full rim of solid 14K gold. The edge is smooth, so nothing snags on sweaters or hair, and the gold protects the edge of every stone. Each diamond sits in a bright circle of polished gold for a bolder, modern line.

Choose bezel if: you’ll wear it every day and want the most protective, snag-free setting. Shop bezel-set

Box clasp with double safety latches

The box clasp slides in and clicks shut, then a hinged safety latch on each side locks it closed. Both latches have to be released before the bracelet can open — so it stays on your wrist even if the box is knocked.

Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-Grown Diamonds are physically, chemically and optically the same as mined diamonds. That’s how a full line of matched stones in solid gold becomes attainable. Want to understand cut, color and clarity before you choose? Read our diamond guide.

Prong-set, three ways

4-prong vs 3-prong vs 2-prong tennis bracelets

Every prong-set bracelet holds its diamonds in solid 14K gold — the difference is how many prongs grip each stone. Fewer prongs means less metal and more diamond on show; more prongs means a firmer hold.

Four-prong

The classic tennis bracelet. Four prongs grip each diamond from every side for the most secure hold, framing each stone in a neat square of gold.

Best for: everyday wear and the traditional look.

Three-prong

Three prongs let the stones sit closer together and look rounder, so the line reads as more continuous — a balance of security and sparkle.

Best for: a fuller line of diamond with a softer, rounder look.

Two-prong

The least metal of any setting. Two slim prongs hold each diamond so the stones nearly touch, creating an almost unbroken ribbon of diamond.

Best for: maximum diamond and the most minimal metal.

As with any prong setting, have your bracelet checked by a jeweler about once a year to keep every stone tight.

One bracelet · your carat weight

2, 3 or 5 carat tennis bracelet? Choose your carat weight

Every tennis bracelet we make is offered in multiple total carat weights, and you pick yours when you order. Total carat weight is the combined weight of every diamond on the bracelet. On a fixed length, more carats means larger stones and fewer of them. Figures below are approximate for a 7″ bracelet with round diamonds.

Total carat weightApprox. stone sizeApprox. stonesHow it wears
1 ct1.7–1.8 mm55–60A fine, delicate line. Built for stacking and wearing every day.
2 ct2.2–2.4 mm45–50Sparkle you see from across the room, still light on the wrist.
3 ct2.7–2.9 mm40–45The statement size that still sits flat enough to wear daily.
5 ct3.3–3.5 mm35–38Bold, substantial, impossible to miss.

The carat weights available on each bracelet are listed in the selector on its page. Want a weight that isn’t listed? We’ll build it.

Made to order · choose your length

Tennis bracelet sizing

The length you choose is the finished bracelet length, not your wrist measurement. A tennis bracelet should sit close to the wrist — too loose and it slides over the hand and the clasp takes more strain.

6″Petite · wrist up to ~5.75″
6.5″Medium · wrist ~6–6.25″
7″Standard · wrist ~6.5–6.75″

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape measure or a strip of paper around your wrist just below the wrist bone. Add about ¼″ for a close fit or ½″ for a little movement, then choose the closest length.

Wrist larger than 6.75″ or need a length not listed? Message the workshop — each bracelet is built to order, so we can size it to you.

Tennis bracelet questions

Is a prong or bezel tennis bracelet better?

It depends on how you'll wear it. Prong settings leave more of each diamond open to light, so they give the most sparkle and the classic tennis bracelet look. Bezel settings wrap each diamond in gold, so they're smoother, won't snag on clothing and protect the edge of every stone, which makes them ideal for everyday wear. We build both, in the same carat weights.

What is the difference between 4-prong, 3-prong and 2-prong tennis bracelets?

It comes down to how many prongs hold each diamond. Four-prong is the classic and most secure, framing each stone in gold. Three-prong lets the stones sit closer and look rounder for a more continuous line. Two-prong uses the least metal, so the diamonds nearly touch and the bracelet reads as an almost unbroken ribbon of diamond. We make all three in solid 14K gold.

What is a bezel tennis bracelet?

A bezel tennis bracelet is a line of diamonds where each stone is wrapped in a full rim of metal instead of being held by prongs. Ours are bezel-set in solid 14K gold, which gives a smooth edge that won't snag and protects the edge of every diamond.

What is a prong-set tennis bracelet?

A prong-set tennis bracelet holds each diamond with small metal prongs. Because the prongs cover very little of the stone, more light enters each diamond, giving the brightest sparkle. We make them in four-prong, three-prong and two-prong styles. As with any prong setting, we recommend having the prongs checked by a jeweler about once a year.

How many carats should a tennis bracelet be?

It depends on the look you want. Around 1 carat total is a fine, delicate line for stacking. 2 to 3 carats is the balanced choice with sparkle you notice from across the room. 5 carats is a bold statement piece. Each of our bracelets is offered in multiple carat weights, so you choose yours when you order.

What is a tennis bracelet?

A tennis bracelet is a flexible bracelet made of a single continuous line of matched diamonds, each set in its own hinged link. The name dates to 1978, when Chris Evert lost her diamond line bracelet mid-match at the US Open and play stopped while she found it.

Are Lab-Grown Diamond tennis bracelets real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-Grown Diamonds are physically, chemically and optically the same as mined diamonds. The difference is origin: they are grown in a controlled environment rather than mined, which makes a full line of matched stones far more attainable.

How secure is the clasp?

Our tennis bracelets close with a box clasp locked by a hinged safety latch on each side. Both latches have to be opened before the bracelet can come off, so it stays on your wrist even if the box clasp is knocked.

What length tennis bracelet should I get?

Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone, then add about a quarter inch for a close fit or half an inch for a little movement, and choose the closest length. We offer 6, 6.5 and 7 inches. A tennis bracelet should sit close to the wrist rather than hang loose. If your wrist is larger than about 6.75 inches, contact the workshop and we will size it to you.

Can a tennis bracelet be resized?

Yes. Because a tennis bracelet is built from individual links, links can be added or removed to change the length. Contact the workshop and we will walk you through it.

How long does it take to make a tennis bracelet?

Every tennis bracelet is made to order and hand-set in our Woodside, Queens workshop. Production takes 10 to 15 business days, then your bracelet ships free and fully insured.

Can I design a custom tennis bracelet?

Yes. We can build to a specific setting, carat weight, stone shape, metal or length. Start on our custom design page or call or text 929-806-1502.
