4mm Satin Dome Wedding Band in Solid 14K Gold
A softly domed profile with a brushed satin finish, cast in solid 14K gold at a 4mm width. The satin surface trades mirror shine for a low, even glow — and unlike a polished band, it does not broadcast every scratch it picks up. This is the version of the classic dome built for a man who intends to wear the ring, not protect it. Made to order in our Woodside, Queens workshop.
The Satin Finish
The face is brushed by hand in one direction, leaving a fine linear texture that catches light softly instead of throwing it back. A high-polish dome looks its best in the box and worse every week after; satin works the opposite way. Small scratches settle into the grain rather than standing out against a mirror, so the band holds its character through years of daily wear. When you eventually want it crisp again, a few minutes at the bench restores it.
The Dome Profile
The dome is the oldest wedding band shape there is, and it survives because it works. The exterior curves gently from edge to edge so there is no hard corner to press against the fingers on either side, and the interior is comfort-fit, gently rounded to clear the knuckle without dragging. At 4mm it stays slim on the hand — the width most men choose when they want the ring to read as understated, or when they have never worn one before and want to forget it is there.
Choosing Your Metal
Yellow gold gives the satin surface its warmest, most traditional read. White gold turns it cool and quiet, closer to brushed steel in feel but solid gold in substance. Rose gold sits between the two with a soft warmth that suits most skin tones. Each band is cast in the metal you choose, solid throughout — never plated, never gold-filled.

We hold no inventory. When your order arrives, this band is cast in your size and your metal, then domed, brushed and finished by hand at our bench in Woodside. Production runs two to three weeks before it ships free and fully insured. Every piece carries a lifetime warranty on workmanship and free resizing, and non-engraved bands can be returned within fourteen days.
