A 1 carat oval Lab-Grown Diamond in a full bezel. The oval has no corners and no points, so the gold can follow it in one unbroken curve — of all the shapes I bezel, this is the one where stone and setting read as a single object.

A 1.00ct oval cut Lab-Grown Diamond, F–G colour, VS1–VS2 clarity, full bezel set on a slim 1.8mm round shank with a high-polish finish. Solid 14K yellow, white or rose gold. Sizes 4 to 9 including half sizes. Certified by IGI and supplied with the report.

Why the oval suits this

An oval spreads wider on the finger than a round of the same weight, so it faces up larger while keeping most of a round brilliant's light return. A bezel adds a thin rim of gold around that outline, which pushes the apparent size further again without adding a halo.
