The center stone
A 1ct princess-cut Lab-Grown Diamond — the most angular and architectural of the brilliant cuts, with a square face and modified brilliant facet pattern that delivers exceptional fire and contrast. The princess cut reads modern and decisive; it's the stone of someone who knows exactly what they want. Lab-Grown Diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds: same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), same refractive index, same brilliance — grown in a controlled environment, graded by the same 4Cs.
The lotus prong basket
Four double prongs — each splitting into two tips — hold the princess cut's corners and curve gently inward like lotus petals closing around the stone. The split prong design protects the princess cut's most vulnerable points (the corners) while giving the setting a sculptural quality that plain cathedral prongs don't have. Below the stone, a milgrain-edged gallery is set with a row of Lab-Grown Diamond accents that are visible from the side profile — the detail that rewards the second look. A fine milgrain border traces the gallery edge throughout.
The band
A tapered cathedral shank rises gently to meet the basket — slightly wider at the shoulders, narrowing toward the back, which both complements the geometric princess cut and keeps the ring comfortable for daily wear. High-polish finish throughout; the milgrain is confined to the gallery so it reads as intentional detail rather than all-over texture.
The metal
Available in solid 14K yellow gold, 14K white gold, and 14K rose gold — all nickel-free, solid throughout, never plated or gold-filled. White gold is the natural pairing for a princess cut — the cool metal sharpens the stone's geometric contrast and keeps the angular facets reading crisp.
