The center stone

A 1ct marquise-cut Lab-Grown Diamond — the most elongating silhouette in fine jewelry, with two dramatic points that make the stone read significantly larger than the carat weight suggests. Lab-Grown Diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds: same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), same refractive index, same brilliance. Grown in a controlled environment, graded by the same 4Cs as mined stones.

The vintage detail

The center stone sits in a scalloped milgrain basket — a continuous row of tiny beaded gold dots tracing the setting edge, the signature mark of early 20th-century fine jewelry. Beneath the stone, a row of .04ct Lab-Grown Diamonds lines the gallery, adding depth and sparkle visible from the side profile. A fine rope-twist texture traces the shoulders of the 2mm band — quiet, deliberate, the detail you notice on the second look. Nothing here is loud. Everything is considered.

The metal

Available in solid 14K yellow gold, 14K white gold, and 14K rose gold — all nickel-free, solid throughout, never plated or gold-filled. White gold sharpens the contrast between metal and stone for a clean, modern take on the vintage setting. Yellow gold deepens the warmth and reads closest to the antique originals this design draws from. Rose gold adds a romantic softness to the milgrain detail without losing any of the precision.

Every ring is made to order by founder Dimitri in our Woodside, Queens workshop — your size, your metal, built from start to finish after you order. The milgrain edging and rope-twist shoulders are finished by hand so the detail reads cleanly under any light. Production takes 2–3 weeks from order confirmation.
