Double Row Lab-Grown Diamond Cross Pendant in Solid 14K Gold
Two rows of Lab-Grown Diamonds, a quarter carat in total, run the full length of this cross, split down the middle by a raised spine of polished gold. Where the arms meet, that spine crosses itself, so the diamond cross carries a second, quieter cross of gold inside it. Every end finishes in a faceted point that catches light like a cut stone. Cast in solid 14K gold and set by hand, one at a time, in my Woodside, Queens workshop.
What makes a double row diamond cross different?
Most pavé crosses lay their diamonds in a single line or cover the whole face in stones. A double row cross sets two parallel lines with a channel of gold between them, which gives the piece structure: you see a clean gold outline, two tracks of sparkle and a sharp center line, instead of one blur of diamonds. The beveled, pyramid-shaped tips on all four arms add an architectural edge that reads modern without losing the classic Latin cross proportions, with a longer lower arm and shorter upper arm.
How big is this cross pendant?
The cross measures 29 millimeters tall from the top of the bail to the bottom tip, a little over an inch, and 16 millimeters across the arms, about five-eighths of an inch. That is a true everyday size: large enough to read clearly at the collarbone and over a shirt, small enough to sit flat and stay under a collar when needed. It ships on an adjustable 16 to 18 inch chain.
How many diamonds are on the cross, and what quality are they?
The cross is set with 42 round Lab-Grown Diamonds totaling 0.25 carat: 8 on the upper arm, 16 across the crossbar and 18 down the lower arm, each held in its own beaded setting. Spreading a quarter carat across 42 small stones instead of a few larger ones is what makes the whole cross sparkle edge to edge rather than at one point. They are D–F color and VS clarity, so they face up bright white against yellow, white or rose gold. Because the total weight is under one carat, the diamonds arrive uncertified.
Is this cross for men or women?
Both. At 29 by 16 millimeters with crisp, faceted ends, it has enough weight and edge for a man to wear on its own, and enough sparkle and refinement for a woman to wear daily or layer with a shorter chain. White gold is the most popular pick for men; yellow gold is the classic choice for a cross that will be worn for decades.

Yes. Each stone sits slightly below the raised gold frame and the center spine, so the metal takes the knocks before the diamonds do.
