What you are getting

Four marquise cut Lab-Grown Diamonds per earring, eight across the pair, 0.45ct total, VS clarity and G–H colour. Minimal prong setting on solid 14K yellow, white or rose gold, 10mm wide, with post and butterfly backs. Nickel-free, solid throughout. Stones at this size are not individually certified.

Why four marquise instead of one round

A marquise spreads its weight lengthwise, so four of them arranged as petals cover far more surface than a single stone of the same total weight would. It is the same reason people choose a marquise for a ring, applied to an earring — you get the visual size of a much larger stud for the carat weight.

Setting notes

The four points have to converge at dead centre. Marquise tips are the fragile part of the cut and here there are eight of them per earring meeting in one place, so each one is seated and covered individually. Any tip sitting proud of its neighbours breaks the flower and shows immediately at this scale.
