Diamonds & carat weight

Lab-Grown Diamonds, sorted by hand for color and size so the line reads evenly all the way around the wrist. Choose your total carat weight in the selector above — more carats means larger stones. See the carat weight guide below for stone sizes.

Prong setting

Each diamond is held in slim prongs of solid 14K gold and left open to light from every side. We make our prong-set bracelets in four-prong, three-prong and two-prong styles — see the prong comparison below. Each setting sits in its own hinged link, hand-set at our bench in Woodside, Queens. As with any prong setting, have it checked once a year to keep every stone tight.

Clasp & security

A box clasp that slides in and clicks shut, locked by a hinged safety latch on each side. Both latches have to be opened before the bracelet can come off, so it stays on your wrist even if the box is knocked.

Sizing

Available in 6″, 6.5″ and 7″ finished length. Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone, add about ¼″ for a close fit or ½″ for a little movement, and choose the closest length. Wrist larger than 6.75″? Message the workshop and we’ll size it to you.

Made to order in our Woodside, Queens workshop. Production takes 10–15 business days, then your bracelet ships with free priority shipping, fully insured, signature required on delivery.

Product description

Pyramid Tennis Bracelet in Solid 14K Gold with Lab-Grown Diamonds

Sharp, polished pyramids of solid 14K gold, each one locked between round Lab-Grown Diamonds in four-prong baskets. The diamonds throw fire, the pyramid faces throw back a hard flash of gold, and the whole bracelet reads like architecture on the wrist. This is the tennis bracelet with an edge: classic enough for a wedding, bold enough for a leather jacket, set by hand in our Woodside, Queens workshop.

What makes a pyramid tennis bracelet different?

A traditional tennis bracelet is diamond after diamond, a soft, continuous line of sparkle. A pyramid tennis bracelet breaks that line on purpose. Every other link is a four-sided gold pyramid with crisp, faceted edges, so the bracelet gets rhythm, contrast and structure that an all-diamond line never has. Up close it looks precise and geometric; from across the room it reads as sparkle punctuated by bright points of gold. It is the version of the tennis bracelet for someone who wants it noticed for its design, not just its shine.

Pyramid, spike, or studded tennis bracelet: what is the difference?

These are three names for the same idea. "Spike" and "studded" describe the raised, pointed gold links; "pyramid" describes their exact shape, four flat faces meeting at a peak. Ours uses low, polished pyramids rather than tall spikes, so the bracelet keeps the edgy look without catching on sweaters or scratching a watch face. Each pyramid is faceted to catch light the same way the diamonds beside it do.

How does it look on the wrist?

Alternating gold and diamond gives the bracelet a clean, graphic pattern that shows up instantly, even in photos and across a table. The pyramids keep the bracelet looking sculpted and intentional when it sits flat, and when the wrist turns, the faces of the gold and the tables of the diamonds catch light at different moments, so the flash moves along the bracelet instead of glowing evenly. It looks expensive in a quieter, more confident way than a full row of stones.

How do I style and stack a pyramid tennis bracelet?

Worn alone, it is the one piece on the wrist that starts a conversation. Stacked, it is the bracelet that makes every other bracelet look better: pair it with a classic all-diamond tennis bracelet for contrast between pure sparkle and sculpted gold, with a plain gold bangle for a stronger gold story, or next to a watch, where the geometric pyramids echo the lines of the case. It moves easily from jeans and a white T-shirt to black tie.

White gold or yellow gold?

In 14K yellow gold the pyramids stand out as bold gold accents between the white Lab-Grown Diamonds, the strongest contrast and the most statement version of the design. In 14K white gold the pyramids blend into the stones for a cool, monochrome line where the shape of each link does the talking. Both are solid 14K gold through every link and every pyramid, never plated and never hollow.

Will the pyramids catch or feel sharp?

No. The pyramids are low and polished, with the points softened just enough to stay comfortable while still reading crisp and geometric. Every link is hinged so the bracelet drapes and rolls with the wrist, and the backs are finished smooth against the skin. It is designed to be worn every day, not saved for special occasions.

Is the clasp secure?

The bracelet closes with a box clasp that clicks shut, backed by a safety latch on each side. The clasp and both latches all have to give way before the bracelet can open, so it can go from the desk to the gym bag to dinner without a second thought.

Which length should I choose: 6, 6.5, or 7 inches?

Measure the wrist just above the wrist bone with a soft tape or a strip of paper, then add about half an inch so the bracelet moves without sliding over the hand. A 5.5-inch wrist wears the 6-inch, a 6-inch wrist the 6.5-inch, and a 6.5-inch wrist the 7-inch. Need a longer length? Ask, and it will be built to measure.

What are the diamond specs?

Each diamond is a round brilliant Lab-Grown Diamond graded D to F in color and VS clarity or better, held in a four-prong basket: colorless, bright white, and eye-clean, which keeps the contrast against the gold pyramids sharp. The bracelet carries 1.2 carats total weight on the 7-inch length; the 6-inch and 6.5-inch bracelets keep the same pattern with proportionally fewer links, so their total carat weight is slightly lower. Because every other link is gold, each stone is larger than it would be in an all-diamond bracelet of the same weight. Lab-Grown Diamonds are real diamonds, with the same carbon crystal, hardness and fire as mined diamonds. Stones of this size are not individually graded by a lab, so the bracelet arrives without an IGI report.

How is it made, and how long does it take?

Every pyramid tennis bracelet is made to order in Queens, NYC by Dimitrios Koukoulis, with no warehouse and no mass production. It is assembled link by link, each pyramid is polished to a crisp edge, every Lab-Grown Diamond is set and checked under magnification, and the clasp is fitted and tested before the final polish. Production takes 10 to 15 business days, and the finished bracelet ships fully insured in a Black Pearl of Queens pouch. Standard lengths are covered by our 14-day return policy.

Compare the other tennis bracelet styles

For an unbroken row of diamonds with no gold between them, see the classic four-prong Lab-Grown Diamond tennis bracelet, or the Three-Prong Tennis Bracelet for slimmer settings that let each diamond show more of itself. For big, bold stones, see the North-South Oval Tennis Bracelet. For soft gold shapes that balance the pyramids' sharp lines, see the Bezel Tennis Bracelet or the Buttercup Tennis Bracelet. Worn together with the pyramid, any of them makes the stack: pure sparkle next to sculpted gold.

How it’s built

Anatomy of our prong-set tennis bracelet

Matched diamonds

Every stone is sorted by hand for color and size, so the line reads as one even ribbon of light.

Hand-set prongs

Slim prongs of solid 14K gold hold each diamond open to light from every side — in four-, three- or two-prong styles.

Hinged links

Every setting sits in its own hinged link, so the bracelet drapes and moves like fabric on the wrist.

Double-latch clasp

A box clasp locked by a safety latch on each side. Both must open before the bracelet can come off.

More prong styles: all prong-set tennis bracelets. Wearing it every day? See our bezel tennis bracelets for a snag-free setting.

Prong-set, three ways

4-prong vs 3-prong vs 2-prong tennis bracelets

Every prong-set bracelet holds its diamonds in solid 14K gold — the difference is how many prongs grip each stone. Fewer prongs means less metal and more diamond on show; more prongs means a firmer hold.

Four-prong

The classic tennis bracelet. Four prongs grip each diamond from every side for the most secure hold, framing each stone in a neat square of gold.

Best for: everyday wear and the traditional look.

Three-prong

Three prongs let the stones sit closer together and look rounder, so the line reads as more continuous — a balance of security and sparkle.

Best for: a fuller line of diamond with a softer, rounder look.

Two-prong

The least metal of any setting. Two slim prongs hold each diamond so the stones nearly touch, creating an almost unbroken ribbon of diamond.

Best for: maximum diamond and the most minimal metal.

As with any prong setting, have your bracelet checked by a jeweler about once a year to keep every stone tight.

One bracelet · your carat weight

2, 3 or 5 carat tennis bracelet? Choose your carat weight

Every tennis bracelet we make is offered in multiple total carat weights, and you pick yours when you order. Total carat weight is the combined weight of every diamond on the bracelet. On a fixed length, more carats means larger stones and fewer of them. Figures below are approximate for a 7″ bracelet with round diamonds.

Total carat weightApprox. stone sizeApprox. stonesHow it wears
1 ct1.7–1.8 mm55–60A fine, delicate line. Built for stacking and wearing every day.
2 ct2.2–2.4 mm45–50Sparkle you see from across the room, still light on the wrist.
3 ct2.7–2.9 mm40–45The statement size that still sits flat enough to wear daily.
5 ct3.3–3.5 mm35–38Bold, substantial, impossible to miss.

The carat weights available on each bracelet are listed in the selector on its page. Want a weight that isn’t listed? We’ll build it.

Tennis bracelet questions

Is a prong or bezel tennis bracelet better?

It depends on how you'll wear it. Prong settings leave more of each diamond open to light, so they give the most sparkle and the classic tennis bracelet look. Bezel settings wrap each diamond in gold, so they're smoother, won't snag on clothing and protect the edge of every stone, which makes them ideal for everyday wear. We build both, in the same carat weights.

What is the difference between 4-prong, 3-prong and 2-prong tennis bracelets?

It comes down to how many prongs hold each diamond. Four-prong is the classic and most secure, framing each stone in gold. Three-prong lets the stones sit closer and look rounder for a more continuous line. Two-prong uses the least metal, so the diamonds nearly touch and the bracelet reads as an almost unbroken ribbon of diamond. We make all three in solid 14K gold.

What is a bezel tennis bracelet?

A bezel tennis bracelet is a line of diamonds where each stone is wrapped in a full rim of metal instead of being held by prongs. Ours are bezel-set in solid 14K gold, which gives a smooth edge that won't snag and protects the edge of every diamond.

What is a prong-set tennis bracelet?

A prong-set tennis bracelet holds each diamond with small metal prongs. Because the prongs cover very little of the stone, more light enters each diamond, giving the brightest sparkle. We make them in four-prong, three-prong and two-prong styles. As with any prong setting, we recommend having the prongs checked by a jeweler about once a year.

How many carats should a tennis bracelet be?

It depends on the look you want. Around 1 carat total is a fine, delicate line for stacking. 2 to 3 carats is the balanced choice with sparkle you notice from across the room. 5 carats is a bold statement piece. Each of our bracelets is offered in multiple carat weights, so you choose yours when you order.

What is a tennis bracelet?

A tennis bracelet is a flexible bracelet made of a single continuous line of matched diamonds, each set in its own hinged link. The name dates to 1978, when Chris Evert lost her diamond line bracelet mid-match at the US Open and play stopped while she found it.

Are Lab-Grown Diamond tennis bracelets real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-Grown Diamonds are physically, chemically and optically the same as mined diamonds. The difference is origin: they are grown in a controlled environment rather than mined, which makes a full line of matched stones far more attainable.

How secure is the clasp?

Our tennis bracelets close with a box clasp locked by a hinged safety latch on each side. Both latches have to be opened before the bracelet can come off, so it stays on your wrist even if the box clasp is knocked.

What length tennis bracelet should I get?

Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone, then add about a quarter inch for a close fit or half an inch for a little movement, and choose the closest length. We offer 6, 6.5 and 7 inches. A tennis bracelet should sit close to the wrist rather than hang loose. If your wrist is larger than about 6.75 inches, contact the workshop and we will size it to you.

Can a tennis bracelet be resized?

Yes. Because a tennis bracelet is built from individual links, links can be added or removed to change the length. Contact the workshop and we will walk you through it.

How long does it take to make a tennis bracelet?

Every tennis bracelet is made to order and hand-set in our Woodside, Queens workshop. Production takes 10 to 15 business days, then your bracelet ships free and fully insured.

Can I design a custom tennis bracelet?

Yes. We can build to a specific setting, carat weight, stone shape, metal or length. Start on our custom design page or call or text 929-806-1502.
