A heart filled with deep black enamel, framed by a polished gold bezel. Sweet enough to read as a love letter, dark enough to mean it — the contrast is the whole design.

What you are getting

Solid 14K yellow, white or rose gold bezel, roughly 6mm across, with a matte black enamel inlay and a post and butterfly back. Nickel-free and solid throughout, never hollow or plated. Sold as a pair.

About the enamel

The enamel is set into a recess in the gold and fired, then levelled flush with the bezel edge. Fired enamel is glass rather than paint, so it does not fade or lift the way a coating would, though it can chip if the earring takes a hard knock against a hard surface. The gold frame sits slightly proud to take that risk for it.
