A pear-shaped Lab-Grown Diamond, IGI certified, above a 2mm pavé band edged on both sides with milgrain. One of the oldest fancy shapes, finished with one of jewelry's oldest details. Choose 1.5, 2, or 2.5 carats in 14K gold or platinum, made to your size at my bench in Woodside, Queens.

An old shape on an old-world band

The pear is among the earliest fancy diamond shapes ever cut, prized for centuries for the way its point catches light. Milgrain belongs to the same long tradition of hand-finished jewelry. Together they give the ring the feeling of something handed down, while the stone and the low-dome band are entirely new.

Framing the curve

A pear is part curve, part point. The fine gold beads along each edge of the band give that outline a soft, defined frame, and they echo the twenty-eight pavé diamonds (0.24 carats in total) between them, so the band has texture you can see from across a table and feel under your fingertip.

Built for everyday wear

The tip sits in a V-prong, the pavé is set down into the 2mm dome, and the milgrain runs along the edges rather than the top. When years of wear soften the beads, I can re-cut them at the bench.
