The Touching Bezels
The defining detail of the Blush Duo is the relationship between the two bezels — they touch. The gold rim of the pink sapphire bezel and the gold rim of the diamond bezel share a wall at the point where they meet, so that the two stones appear to be in contact with each other, held together by the gold that surrounds them. This touching-bezel configuration is the most intimate two-stone setting in fine jewelry: it implies connection, proximity, closeness — two different things that belong together.
