What you are getting

Solid 14K yellow, rose or white gold, roughly 13.5mm across and 3.7mm wide, with a push-back closure and a high polish on every facet. Solid throughout, never hollow or plated. Sold as a pair.

Why faceted gold reads like stones

Each pyramid has four angled planes meeting at a point, and each plane reflects at a different angle. Turn your head and the highlights jump from face to face the way they would across a cut stone. That only holds if the facets are crisp — rounded-off pyramids read as bumps, so the points are finished individually rather than tumbled smooth.

How they wear

Huggie fit, so they sit close to the lobe rather than swinging. Bold enough alone, and they work stacked under a plain stud if you are building an ear. Mixed metals hold up here better than most designs, since the texture carries the look rather than the colour.
