What you are getting

A 0.40ct princess cut Lab-Grown Diamond, VS clarity and F–G colour, four-corner-prong set on a 1.5mm ultra-thin plain band. Solid 14K yellow, white or rose gold. Stones under one carat are not sold with a lab report, so this one arrives uncertified — I select it face-up at the bench instead.

Why the prongs sit on the corners

The corners of a princess cut are the thinnest part of the stone and the first thing to chip if left exposed. Placing a prong on each one covers the vulnerable points and leaves all four faces open to light — which looks like the prongs are simply at the widest points, but the placement is doing protective work.

The trade-off on a 1.5mm shank

Less metal means less resistance to bending over years of hard wear, true of every thin band. I do not go below 1.5mm because past that the structure stops being reliable. If your hands take a beating, tell me and I will build the shank heavier.
