The basket weave is formed by interleaving rows of solid gold in an over-under rhythm that locks into a unified surface. It is one of the most technically demanding constructions in plain band work — the weave is not applied to a surface but is the surface itself, which gives it a depth and dimensionality that shifts with every angle of light. Run your thumb across it and you feel each ridge. Hold it to the sun and the shadows move. That is what separates a handcrafted weave from a stamped texture, and why no two leave the bench looking exactly the same.
Choose from solid 14K Yellow Gold, 14K White Gold, 14K Rose Gold, and 14K Brown Gold — solid throughout, never plated or gold-filled. The 14K Brown Gold is an earthy amber-brown that sits between yellow and rose, and reads warmer and more architectural than either, a natural match for the three-dimensional texture of the weave.
